Welcome to Casita de Colores!
We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating bilingual environment for children aged 7 months to 5 years. Our mission is to foster early language development, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning through a curriculum that emphasizes both English and Spanish, as well as the arts.
At Casita de Colores, we believe every child is unique. We provide individualized care that meets each child where they are, encouraging growth at their own pace while building confidence and curiosity.
Join UsOur Philosophy
We believe that early childhood is a critical period for cognitive, linguistic, and social development. By immersing children in a bilingual setting and encouraging artistic exploration, we aim to:
-
Enhance Cognitive Abilities
Bilingualism improves problem-solving skills, creativity, and cognitive flexibility in young minds.
-
Promote Cultural Awareness
Exposure to multiple languages and cultures fosters open-mindedness and appreciation for diversity.
-
Encourage Artistic Expression
Engaging in the arts allows children to express themselves, develop fine motor skills, and build confidence.
Educational Programs
From 7 months to 5 years, I have everything your child needs to thrive at each stage of their development.
Learning blooms best when given the right conditions to flourish. My bilingual, arts-inspired classroom creates a home environment where your child can self-direct and self-pace their interests, allowing a love of learning to take root naturally.
I don't use rigid checklists β I attend to your child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development individually, so they grow in confidence and independence at their own pace. Every child receives my full, personal attention in a small group setting that large daycare centers simply can't offer.

Serving as a Spanish teacher in the enrichment program and an education assistant, she has witnessed the profound benefits of early bilingual exposure and artistic expression in child development.
Carolina's training with the Australia Open University gave her a deep understanding of developmental needs of young children. She also worked as the Early Childhood Childcare Coordinator at South Suburban Church, further developing her expertise in creating supportive environments for young children.
As a mother of two, Carolina understands the importance of a supportive, enriching environment for children and brings that personal experience into her work every day.
